Struct PIM changelog for January

February 10, 2026

January’s release is all about making your product data more versatile, more actionable, and easier to use across teams and touchpoints. While the winter season continues, our product teams have been busy delivering improvements that turn structured data into real-world impact.

From richer asset experiences to more flexible outputs and smarter insights, this month’s updates help you get more value out of the data you already manage in Struct PIM.

New features

Hotspots on assets

Hotspots introduce a more interactive and contextual way to work with visual assets in Struct PIM.

With this feature, you can place clickable hotspots directly on specific areas of an image and link them to relevant products or entities, such as individual items in an outfit.

Each hotspot carries structured product data, making it easy to build rich “Shop-the-Look” experiences where users can explore related products straight from the image itself.

By moving from static imagery to interactive assets, Hotspots help you:

  • Connect visual content directly to product data
  • Make complex product relationships easier to understand
  • Increase engagement by letting users explore products in context

The result is higher asset value, and a more immersive end-user experience.

Enhancements

Generate PowerPoints from publications

You can now generate PowerPoint presentations directly from publications in Struct PIM, turning structured product data into fully formatted slides.

Struct PIM renders your product content into presentation-ready layouts. This ensures that specifications, descriptions, visuals, and tables are always accurate, consistent, and up to date.

The result is a faster and more reliable way to create sales material, internal presentations, or stakeholder updates.

You can learn more about how to set up a PowerPoint publication in our guides.

Add "Category" as an entity on "Distribution chart" widget

The Distribution Chart dashboard widget now supports Category as an entity, giving you a more detailed and structured way to analyze your data.

By visualizing distributions at category level, you can move beyond high-level metrics and gain clearer insight into how your product structure is populated. This makes it easier to spot empty or underutilized categories, understand coverage across your catalog, and identify areas that require attention.

With flexible widget settings you’re in full control of how data is presented, allowing you to tailor insights to your specific business needs and define the narrative behind your product data.

Multi file-format for data templates now supported

Data templates in Struct PIM now support multiple output formats, giving you the flexibility to work across teams, tools, and use cases.

You can choose the file format that best fits your workflow, whether that’s XLSX or CSV for spreadsheets, JSON or XML for integrations, or PPTX for presentation-ready outputs.

Struct PIM handles the heavy lifting, ensuring your data remains consistent and structured regardless of the format.

This means your product data is no longer locked into a single output - it adapts to how you work, so you can focus on execution instead of formatting.
