Struct App Store: A new way for Struct Partners to extend Struct PIM

June 29, 2026

No two clients work with product data in exactly the same way. Different systems, different workflows, and different integration needs. As a partner, you know this better than anyone.

But when a PIM system forces every client into the same standard mold, it can limit the very processes it is meant to support.

That often means more workarounds, more custom development outside the platform, and more friction in the solutions you deliver.

That is why we are introducing the new Struct App Store - a dedicated place to discover, build, and deploy apps that expand what Struct PIM can do.

With the Struct App Store, partners can now solve client-specific needs directly within the platform.

You get the strong foundation of Struct PIM, combined with the freedom to build the solution each client requires.

The result: more value for your clients, a stronger offering for your business, and a platform that grows with the needs you encounter every day.

Three types of apps - built for different needs

The Struct App Store is built around three distinct app types, each designed to serve a different purpose.

Together, they give partners a flexible toolkit for delivering tailored solutions at any scale.

Public apps are for shared needs across the Struct ecosystem. They solve a defined business need and provide value across multiple tenants.

If you build a solution that solves a challenge shared by many clients, a public app is the way to reach the entire Struct PIM ecosystem.

Private apps are for partner-owned solutions that can be reused across clients. They can be installed in any Struct PIM tenant you have access to, without requiring Struct approval.

This makes private apps an ideal toolkit for partners: build once, deploy across your clients, and maintain full control over the solution.

Custom apps are for tenant-specific needs that do not need to be reused elsewhere. They are not installed from the App Store and are designed for highly specific, client-side needs.

Any user in the PIM tenant can configure a custom app, making this the right choice for solutions that do not need to be reused elsewhere.

A new way to package your expertise

As a partner, a significant part of your value lies in the knowledge you have built over time: knowing which integrations clients need, which workflows create friction, and which solutions solve recurring problems across different industries and setups.

Until now, that knowledge has largely lived outside the platform. In documentation. In custom scripts. In institutional memory.

Every new client engagement often meant starting from a familiar place, but building the solution again.

The Struct App Store changes that. It gives you a way to turn accumulated expertise into something concrete and reusable: apps that can be deployed, maintained, and improved over time.

Your knowledge stops being something you carry around and starts being something you can deliver.

That is a meaningful shift in how you can operate as a partner. The solutions you build become assets. And the more you build, the stronger your offering becomes.

What it means for partners and clients

For partners, the Struct App Store changes what you can offer.

Today, solving a client’s specific integration or workflow need often means building something outside the platform: a custom script, a middleware layer, or a workaround that works but does not feel native.

With the App Store, that work moves inside Struct PIM. Solutions are built on a supported, structured foundation, making them easier to maintain and a more natural part of the platform experience.

That shift matters for how you position your services. You are no longer just implementing a PIM. You are extending what it can do.

For partners, this means fewer one-off workarounds and more reusable, native solutions. For clients, it means a PIM experience that feels closer to the way their teams actually work.

For clients, the impact is just as tangible.

Instead of working with a PIM configured to fit as closely as possible, clients get a PIM built around their actual needs.

Integrations feel seamless. Workflows match how their teams actually work.

And when requirements change, the platform can change with them - without starting from scratch.

The Struct App Store does not just make Struct PIM more flexible. It makes partner-built value a native part of the platform.
