Here are 20 product groups identified and prioritized in the ESPR

The products initially prioritized for the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) have been identified. This effort aims to lay the foundation for mandatory environmental requirements, either for individual products or groups with similar characteristics.

The selection process evaluates product groups based on their environmental impact, potential for improvement, and alignment with existing EU policies. Out of 33 product categories assessed, 20 have been initially prioritized - covering both consumer products and materials - with significant potential to reduce environmental impact and contribute to ESPR.
